We are excited to welcome guests back to Honda Center. The well-being of our guests, staff, players, coaches, media, and performers continues to be our top priority, and as we return to events, heightened sanitation, health, and safety protocols are in effect at Honda Center. These policies are aligned with state and local public health orders, ordinances and guidance as well as mandated NHL procedures. As our knowledge and understanding of the COVID-19 virus continues to evolve, our policies and plans will be updated as appropriate. Fans are encouraged to check back for the most up-to-date policies and procedures.
For the safety of our fans and employees, guests must follow all Honda Center policies, including health and safety policies, and posted instructions while in Honda Center and on Honda Center grounds. Verbal and physical harassment will not be tolerated.

Wear Cloth Face Coverings
Face coverings are required to be worn by all guests (ages 2 and up) and staff members at all times, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine, while at Honda Center (including the parking lots). Guests must also bring their own face coverings and wear them at all times.
Face coverings must conform to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance. For example, face coverings must be made with at least two layers of breathable material, fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin, fit snugly against the side of the face, and be secured with ties or ear loops to allow the guest to remain hands-free.
Based on CDC guidance, the following types of face coverings are permitted:
- Cloth or surgical type mask (disposable or reusable)
- Clear mask
- Face shield, but only in addition to a face mask
Examples of face coverings not permitted at Honda Center include:
- Neck gaiters, even if made with multiple layers of material
- Costume masks
- Open-chin bandanas
- Face coverings containing valves, mesh material or holes
The use of face coverings is not a substitute for physical distancing.
For the safety of guests, staff, players, and media members, guests that refuse to comply with the Honda Center’s face covering policy will be denied entry into Honda Center or escorted out of the building without refund.
Any guest unable to wear an approved face covering due to a medical condition must provide at least twenty-four (24) hours advance notice to Honda Center by emailing email@example.com. If e-mail notice is not received at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the start of the event, accommodations may not be made.
No Bag Policy
In accordance with NHL safety and security guidelines, bags and purses, including clear bags and clutches, will not be permitted inside Honda Center effective February 1, 2021.
Guests are asked to refrain from bringing purses, clutches, large wallets, and additional bags to expedite entry into Honda Center. All arena entrances will only permit wallets 4 in. x 5 in. or smaller. Due to COVID-19 policies and procedures, Honda Center will no longer offer a bag check.
In an effort to accommodate our guests who require a purse/bag, including diaper bags and bags carrying items that are medical in nature, such as prescription medication, breast pumps, and other special medical equipment, will be permitted as long as they are within 16 in. x 12 in. x 12 in. These bags are required to go through additional X-ray screening and inspection. Honda Center’s North Entrance will have one dedicated X-ray screening line. Guests who require entry with a purse/bag should arrive early to allow ample time to go through the additional security screening.
These policies are put in place to provide a safe environment for the public and comply with NHL regulations.

Symptom and Health Check
Prior to entry to Honda Center, all guests may be subject to verbal symptom and health checks. Guests agree to not attend an event at Honda Center if any one or more of the following is true within 14 days of the day of the event:
- You have (or any person in your party or with whom you have close contact has) tested positive for, or been exposed to someone who has tested positive for, COVID-19;
- You have (or any person in your party or with whom you have close contact has) experienced symptoms of COVID-19 identified by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at CDC.gov, including:
- Fever or chills
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- You are (or any person in your party is) subject to a mandatory quarantine pursuant to local, state or federal health authorities.
In an effort to continue the highest level of safety and security, Honda Center is enforcing a “no re-entry” policy for all ticketed events. If a guest has their ticket scanned for entry, and then leaves the arena, they will not be permitted to return using the same ticket. For emergency situations, please contact a Security or Guest Services Manager.
Food and Beverage
In compliance with State Guidelines, food and beverage items will not be available for purchase inside Honda Center. Ticketed patrons may purchase non-alcoholic beverages, including water and soda, in a designated area outside of Honda Center’s North Entrance one hour prior to the start of the game through the end of the second intermission. Beverages must be consumed in the permitted area and will not be allowed inside.
Food and beverage items brought on-site to Honda Center are not permitted.
Limited Fan Attendance
In keeping with California State’s guidelines, Honda Center will operate at 10% capacity. Seating charts will be determined per event to ensure physical distancing for all guests. Unique seating maps will be created for each event to allow for proper distancing between seated groups.
Honda Center, and its surrounding grounds, is a no smoking/vaping facility. All guests are prohibited from smoking (including electronic cigarettes, vaporizers, marijuana, CBD, or similar products) inside and outside of the arena at any time.
Event tickets will be digital and available on guests’ mobile devices. Honda Center has implemented cashless payment at the Team Store.
Practice Physical Distancing
For the safety of all in attendance, guests must follow physical distance guidelines including designated physically distanced spacing signage as they queue for entry or in line. We ask all guests to maintain at least six (6) feet of distance from those outside of their party during their time at Honda Center. Gatherings of more than eight people are prohibited on the concourse and will be strictly monitored by event staff. Honda Center staff will monitor guests in seating areas to ensure they maintain physical distancing and sit in their purchased seats.
Please be respectful of other guests and their space.

Honda Center has achieved Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ accreditation, the gold standard for prepared facilities. Under the guidance of GBAC, a Division of ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, Honda Center has implemented the most stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention in its facility. Enhanced Cleaning & Sanitization
All high-touch surfaces and heavily trafficked areas within Honda Center will be cleaned and disinfected at an incensed frequency throughout events. After every event, all spaces and seating areas will go through an additional rigorous disinfection process.
Your health and safety and the safety of our employees are our top priority. We have taken enhanced health and safety measures to protect you; however, an inherent risk of exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19 exists in any public place where people gather. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. We cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed during your visit. You must follow all arena policies, including health and safety policies, and posted instructions while in the arena and on arena grounds. Do not enter the arena if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, have been diagnoses diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days, have been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days, or are subject to a mandatory quarantine pursuant to local, state or federal health authorities.
By entering the arena and or arena grounds, you voluntarily assume all risks of exposure to COVID-19 or any other communicable disease or illness, and voluntarily waive all such related claims and potential claims against Anaheim Arena Management, LLC, City of Anaheim, Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club, LLC, National Hockey League and its members, and their respective members, affiliates, officers, employees, attorneys, successors and assigns and all persons acting by, through, under or in concert with them.
