Jaripeo Sin Fronteras features performances by Pepe Aguilar, Leonardo and Angela Aguilar, Christian Nodal, 12 mariachis, 20 band musicians, 7 musicians, 15 horses and more than a dozen bulls and other livestock.

“I am tremendously proud and thankful that life has allowed me to revive a story that started many decades ago. My father (the legendary Antonio Aguilar) a humble man from Zacatecas without academic education but well educated from life and from the heart, got to the farthest reaches of the continent, carrying as a flag his traditions, his music, his culture and his Charro suit,” Pepe said during his sold-out show at Staples Center.

“Jaripeo Sin Fronteras” kicked off at a sold-out performance at Staples Center in January. Pepe began his performance with 100% Mexicano, which was truly the theme for the night. “My father's career was a great inspiration to me,” says Pepe. “Antonio Aguilar risked everything to dignify Mexican music in countries that were not his."  Pepe, who is a national and 5-time state charro champion, amazed the crowd with his equestrian ability.  He performed huge hits such as "Puño de Tierra" and also performed "La Chancla" and "El Chivo" with his children Angela and Leonardo, the latter a 2x Grammy nominee and accomplished equestrian. During her presentation, Angela said “I am a proud Mexican American.”

Special guest Christian Nodal, a superstar from the new generation of performers who fuses mariachi with norteño, kicked off his set with his #1 hit “Adios Amor” which won “Favorite Song” at the Latin American Music Awards and reached No. 1 on Billboard’s “Regional Mexican Songs”.  He followed with “El Rey” and other huge hits which the audience loved.

Hoy raved, “With the tradition of the Aguilar Dynasty to live up to, Pepe offered a spectacular show on Saturday night, full of charreadas, songs, forcados and, above all, a great atmosphere that everyone enjoyed at Staples Center arena in Los Angeles. The Mexican tradition is strengthened with 'Jaripeo Sin Fronteras'.”
