The Public Relations Society of America’s Los Angeles chapter has awarded a coveted
PRism to The Element, the official television show of the Anaheim Ducks and Honda
Center, as the region’s Best Ongoing Corporate Communication/Entertainment Program.
PRism Awards are given annually to a limited number of the top public relations
campaigns and strategies in the industry.
“Our staff has created a compelling television program that both entertains and
serves as a great platform to showcase both Ducks hockey and the wide variety of
live entertainment that comes through Honda Center,” said Bob Wagner, Ducks and
Honda Center Senior Vice President/Chief Marketing Officer. “To be honored with
this award highlights what a great inside look the show has been able to give viewers.”
The Element is a half-hour show available in over 6 million households in Southern
California, which works as a promotions vehicle for the Anaheim Ducks and the artists/entertainers
who perform at Honda Center. The format for each 30 minute episode is magazine style
with features and “behind the scenes” glimpses for viewers. The goal of the show
is to highlight the incredible array of events at Honda Center, while extending
each performer’s appearance in the Southern California market giving them another
platform to promote new products or soon-to-be released work. The result is a positive
reflection of the hockey team, artists and the facility.
