Ruby's Diner Opens Two Locations at Honda Center

The 1940s-inpired locally-based Chain Becomes A Partner Of Southern California’s Premier Entertainment and Sports Venue

Anaheim Arena Management, LLC and the Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club, LLC announced that Ruby’s Diner has opened two new themed concession stands inside Honda Center. A Southern California institution famous for its 1940s-inspired American dishes, Ruby’s two branded locations were unveiled just prior to the Anaheim Ducks home opener which saw the club raise its Stanley Cup championship banner to the rafters.

“Ruby’s Diner is truly a place Southern Californians look to for great food and great atmosphere,” said Wendy Grover, Honda Center and Anaheim Ducks director of corporate partnerships. “We’re excited to offer Honda Center and Anaheim Ducks fans a chance to experience the fun and food that only Ruby’s can offer.”

Ruby Cavanaugh, the inspiration behind Ruby’s Diner, was on hand for the occasion and rode onto the ice on top of a Zamboni® ice resurfacer to “officially” welcome the All-American restaurant to Honda Center. The two Ruby’s locations can be found on the main concourse outside of section 212 and on the arena’s upper concourse outside of section 424. The main concourse location will serve both hot and cold signature items, while the upper concourse stand will serve just desserts, such as the “Duck Puck” Ice Cream sandwiches created especially for Honda Center.

In addition, Ruby’s Diner uniform-clad servers will deliver complimentary Ruby’s Arena Shake coupons & $10 Ruby Burger Cards, to a select row of fans during each Anaheim Ducks home game.

The Ruby’s Diner partnership will also include an in-game feature where a randomly selected fan celebrating his or her birthday at an Anaheim Ducks home game will receive a certificate for a Ruby's Diner birthday party of eight at the Huntington Beach Pier location.

“Ruby’s is thrilled for this opportunity to support Southern California hockey and Anaheim Ducks fans, especially since Ruby’s Diner has been based in Orange County for more than 25 years,” said Doug Cavanaugh, co-founder, CEO and chairman of Ruby’s Diner. “The great tastes of our distinctive menu items are the perfect match for an action-packed Ducks experience.”

Further terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
