The Anaheim Ducks and Anaheim Arena Management, LLC, the management company for Honda Center, announced today that the official opening date for The Grand Terrace and the new Anaheim Ducks Team Store Powered by Reebok is set for October 10 in conjunction with the Ducks’ home opener vs. the New York Rangers.

“October 10 will be an incredible night, marking two very special occasions; the official unveiling of this extensive and exciting project as well as the first home game of the Ducks 20th anniversary season,” said Ducks Executive Vice President/COO and Honda Center CEO Tim Ryan. “We hope fans come ready to celebrate as we take the Honda Center fan experience to the next level.”

The Grand Terrace Project marks the largest single upgrade in Honda Center’s 20-year history. The Grand Terrace itself, a 15,000 square foot indoor/outdoor entertainment space, will soon be the ultimate amenity for Southern California hockey fans. Located on the San Manuel Premium Level of Honda Center, the location features more than 100 feet of bar space, upscale décor, unique menu options, outdoor fire pits and service of the highest degree.

Ducks Season Passes for The Grand Terrace sold out just after groundbreaking on the project. At each Ducks home game, season Pass holders will have access to the space two hours prior to puck drop, and throughout the game, intermissions and post-game, creating a seamless game expereice that includes food, drink or fun surrounding the game. The Grand Terrace will also serve as host to pre and post-game broadcasts, and a number of special events throughout the season.

The all new Anaheim Ducks Team Store Powered by Reebok is more than three times the size of the previous location and will carry items and styles for every taste and budget. Fans can expect a much larger selection of women’s and children’s styles. The store will also include a jersey customization area, where fans can order a custom jersey and pick it up within the hour.

Located directly beneath The Grand Terrace will be a dramatic new entry plaza, flanked by two state-of-the-art Daktronics screens measuring approximately 15 feet high by 25 feet each.  The screens are among the most visually dynamic and technologically advanced LED displays available today, and will allow Honda Center to show stunning HD-quality video and images to fans entering the arena.

Across the plaza from the team store will be a new 250-seat restaurant by renowned chef Wolfgang Puck which is will be opening later this fall. The location seeks to offer casual, approachable dining featuring simply prepared, high-quality ingredients, inviting hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere. Seasonal menu highlights will include grilled meats and fish, housemade pastas and pizzas, as well as market salads and decadent desserts. The 20-seat bar located inside of the restaurant will create signature cocktails and offer an extensive wine and draft beer list.
