Men's Championship Game - UC Irvine vs. Pacific - 7:30 p.m.
The 2013 Big West Tournament is the third year the event has been
hosted at Honda Center in Anaheim. The 2012 tournament saw a 23% increase in
attendance from the previous year, including the largest crowd to witness a
final in the event’s 18-year tenure in Anaheim. A three-day total of 18,976
fans attended the 2012 event.
The Big West Tournament is the oldest NCAA Division I post-season
basketball tournament in the West, dating back to 1976 when the conference was
known as the Pacific Coast Athletic Association. The Big West is comprised of
ten schools: Cal Poly, Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Northridge, Long Beach
State, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, Hawai‘i and
Pacific.
